My Baby Chick Cam
These are my not-so-new baby chicks, hatched May 15, 2009. There are two New Hampshire Reds, two Red Stars and two Buff Cochins. I hope to get lots of eggs from them!

UPDATE - UPDATE
Well, The Ladies have decided that they like the great outdoors a lot better than being cooped up in a brooder.
This bums me out because I really enjoyed having the webcam...
I am going to see if I can find a wireless webcam I can afford and set it up so we can still watch the chicks outdoors.
Thank you to everyone who has visited and please check back in the near future... In the meantime, you can check my blog here for periodic updates on how The Ladies are doing :)
UPDATE
On the days when the weather is cooperating, the Ladies will be spending their time enjoying the great outdoors. I will be bringing them in at night until they have all their adult feathers.
If you came to visit and don't see them, that means they are having fun outside practicing their flying and eating all those tasty bugs. Please come back and visit them when they are back inside at night!
I discovered that if you double click on the image, it will open up in full screen. The resolution isn't the greatest, but it's still neat :) Hit Esc to go back to the regular screen.
To see pictures of what the chicks are supposed to look like when they grow up, you can visit my blog here.
The green marks you see on the chicks' head, stomach and/or feet are from the hatchery. I ordered my chicks with a couple other people. The hatchery colored coded the chicks so that we could tell which chick belonged to who. Hopefully the green will fade soon! The green is finally going away as the adult feathers are growing in. One of the chicken still has green all over her feet tho'!
